Research Interests
Experimental research in the field of clinical nutrition in non-communicable diseases and endocrine-metabolic disorders through studies of nutritional assessment, nutrient metabolism, and gene expression analysis. Studies using murine models to evaluate novel experimental nutritional treatments and analyze biomarkers of interest in induced diseases, supported by basic science studies. All of the above with an approach that enables the translational study of priority health conditions in the region.
